5 Micron Sediment Filter

5 Micron Carbon Block Filter Cartridge

Solid carbon block water filter cartridges are one of the most effective and widely used technologies in the point-of-use water treatment industry today. Moreover, solid carbon block cartridges, or simply carbon blocks, are used either as standalone treatment methods, in conjunction with Reverse Osmosis, or as part of a system with other cartridge types.

Furthermore, carbon is a very versatile and highly effective water treatment medium. It has immense surface area; in fact, approximately half a kilogram of carbon contains a surface area of over 50 hectares (0.5 square kilometers). Therefore, its structure makes it particularly suitable for capturing and retaining contaminants.

POST Water Filter Replacement

T33 KX Carbon media 

Our inline post water filter is a GAC post filter. Also more commonly used as the inline filter for water appliances such reverse osmosis. The post water filter replacement uses KX granular activated carbon media which cleans the water from your reverse osmosis storage tank

Installation is quick and easy via the standard 1/4″ threaded ends; moreover, a directional flow arrow is printed on the filter cartridge. After installation, it is recommended to flush the water line to remove loose carbon fines (particles). Furthermore, this filter is generally replaced every 12 months to assure quality of water.
